It ends the same way for everyone. Somewhere past the last set of trees the yeti turns up, and it is faster than you are. There is no version of the run where you outski it — that is the joke, and it has held for thirty-five years.
The shirts
The Ski Free section is our own drawing of the same idea — trail signage, the skier and the thing at the bottom of the hill. Ours are pixels on cotton; the game above is the Internet Archive's.
